Prevent Battery Laptop Repair

So you have a laptop. And the laptop runs on a battery. What happens if the battery dies? You have a non-functional laptop. And then you have to take it to the battery laptop repair experts, or you can do the battery laptop repair yourself. But you know that you can prevent battery laptop repair by preventing your battery from dying (or making it last longer) and prevent the whole thing altogether? Sure, the battery is bound to die sometimes, but just not now or later, when you are doing something important and ed the laptop.

Here are some tips for you to make your battery last longer:

1. Mute or decrease your speaker volume. Muting or decreasing your speaker volume will save battery power and prevent battery laptop repair.

2. Close any kind of entertainment, games, desktop media, such as Windows Media Player, Real Player, watching DVD's, Photoshop (Adobe Photoshop CS series, Adobe Photoshop 7.5, Adobe Photoshop Illustrator, etc.), Corel Draw, Agloco, and various other applications. I can name them all, but you would be very bored and would probably skip this section. Shutting down desktop applications and entertainment saves a fair amount of battery power (probably more than most of others), depending on which programs you use and for what. Multimedia entertainment games and activities drain laptop batteries.

3. Adjust your screen to a dimmer level. Even though it is harder to see, like the last tip, this saves battery a lot of energy as well, preventing battery laptop repair.

4. Pick the Laptop Power scheme which turns off the laptop after ten minutes of inactivity, in the Windows Power Options. This tip, like the last two, saves quite a bit of energy (unless you do not leave your laptop, which is not recommended!).

5. If you are planning to not use your laptop for a while (i.e. one week or more), remove your laptops batteries to save battery power and to prevent battery laptop repair.

6. Put your computer in Sleep mode or Hibernation mode if you are not going to use it for a little while. Use the Standby mode if you are going to be away from the laptop for 1-3 hours. Use the Hibernation mode if you are not going to use your laptop for 4 hours and more.

The Standby mode turns your screen and computer off, and all unsaved files are stored in RAM. When you want to o out of Standby mode, it goes back to the way you originally left it, your desktop and everything remains the same.

The Hibernation mode will shut your computer down, and will save any unsaved data to your hard drive. When you restart the laptop, the desktop will be exactly as you originally left it.

To choose the Standby mode: Go to Start in your taskbar, then Turn off Computer or Shut Down, then Standby.

To choose the Hibernation mode: Go to Start in your taskbar, then Turn off Computer or Shut Down, then put your cursor over the Standby button, press Shift on your keyboard and press Standby with your mouse.

This prevents battery laptop repair by a lot.
